“ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A culinary highlight — every time! Our monthly visit to La Route is always a culinary highlight. From the first glass of champagne to the last sip of coffee, everything is simply perfect. The welcome is warm, the service extremely friendly, and the atmosphere simply blissfully relaxed. We were treated to two delicious amuse-bouches that immediately set the tone for a refined evening. This was followed by a tuna tartare with pickled fennel, dashi jus, jalapeño cream, and panko — a fresh and perfectly balanced appetizer. The entrée of veal cheek with mimolette cheese, Duvel espuma, fried onion, and pumpkin chutney was simply delicious. What a combination of flavors! For our main course, we enjoyed a tender venison fillet with gratin dauphinois, port reduction, salsify, Parmesan, and kale—a dish that perfectly captures the spirit of autumn. We finished with a classic: the Dame Blanche with fresh vanilla ice cream and warm chocolate sauce. Pure nostalgia, but with a refined twist. We chose the matching wines for each course, which were always perfectly paired. And the port with dessert completed the meal. In short: La Route remains one of our absolute favorites. Here you'll enjoy top-notch dishes, warm service, and a cozy atmosphere—a place you simply must visit! ”

“ La Route is a restaurant that is worth a visit! It is open for dinner (and lunch on Thursdays and Fridays) and offers guest a set menu. The menu can be complemented with full or half glasses of wine for an additional fee. Let’s start with the service - the chef’s wife welcomed us upon our arrival and came to our table to introduce the courses and the wine pairing. She was extremely knowledgeable and mindful of our food allergies and preferences that we communicated to the restaurant via email before our visit. As for the food, exceptional! Each course delighted our taste buds and many consisted of creative flavor combinations and textures. The modifications to the menu to accommodate vegetarians were lovely and hit the mark with quality and flavor. After the meal, with coffee and tea, a board of chocolates, cookies and gummies was brought to the table. Very thoughtful and everything delicious. What’s more, upon our arrival, as the weather was decent, we sat outside on a terrace in front of La Route for an aperitif. The wow factor of the evening was the choice of non-alcoholic cocktails and wine including a sparkling wine without alcohol that was as good as or even better than the one with alcohol. Due to its location, one must drive to get to La Route (car or bike). There is plenty of parking and the possibility to order delicious non-alcoholic beverages is highly appreciated. “ We dine out almost every week, which means we visit many places, but La Route is one of those places that really sticks in our minds. Everything you eat there is simply delicious. You can taste that the chef knows his craft and cooks with knowledge and passion. They use seasonal ingredients, and the flavors are simply on point. At the same time, you sense that he truly knows the classics, but presents them in his own unique way. I appreciate that: recognizable, but never boring. The restaurant itself is also very pleasant. You're not crammed together; there's plenty of space to dine in peace and quiet. The service is excellent, and importantly, there's ample parking. We've been here a few times now and have always had a surprisingly delicious meal. And the value for money is truly outstanding. I know few restaurants that achieve this level at these prices. The menus change regularly, and during the week you can also order à la carte at very reasonable prices, always with a nice twist. We will definitely be back often. Highly recommended ”
